Who is OFOS?
OFOS was created by a group of youth from the Halifax Regional Municipality (Nova Scotia, Canada) in October, 2019.

Alice Barlaam is a 12th grade International Italian student at Sir John A. MacDonald High School in Halifax. She is spending one year in Canada to improve her English skills, learn, and grow up. She loves theatre, art, and literature.
Ana Keselj Ana Keselj is a high school student at Charles P. Allen High School. She is passionate about working towards a more sustainable community. Ana thinks it’s important to be creative when working to improve the climate crisis. She’s interested in psychology, chemistry, and philosophy.
Lyza Ells is a high school student in Antigonish, Nova Scotia. As the head of her school’s Students Advocating for a Greater Environment committee, Lyza actively supports youth engagement in the climate crisis. Lyza currently sits on the inaugural Nova Scotia Office of the Ombudsman Youth Council. Lyza was also an active member in the drafting of Canada’s Children’s Charter of Rights and Freedoms in partnership with the organization Children First Canada. As a three-time Canada-Wide Science Fair competitor, Lyza has a great interest in the science of environmental sustainability, and is passionate about the power of women in science.
